National Future Day at UZH

Launched in 2001, National Future Day is a Swiss intercantonal project supported by the equal opportunity offices and commissions of various cantons. The initiative is intended to show children their array of future opportunities. It also aims to promote gender equality early on when it comes to children’s future choice of profession.

On National Future Day, UZH’s faculties, departments and offices offer children the opportunity to peek into different fields of work and areas at UZH. Along with visiting their parent’s place of work, children can also take part in workshops and watch live demonstrations and experiments.

National Future Day at UZH is exclusively designed for children of UZH staff in 5th, 6th or 7th grade (no external guests).

Events on City Campus and Irchel Campus

UZH offers two diverse programs on City Campus and Irchel Campus. Children can register for individual events based on their interests. Children will receive registration priority for the campus their parent works on.
