National Future Day at UZH

Launched in 2001, National Future Day is a Swiss intercantonal project supported by the equal opportunity offices and commissions of various cantons. The initiative is intended to show children in 5th, 6th or 7th grade their array of future opportunities. It also aims to promote gender equality early on when it comes to children’s future choice of profession.

On National Future Day, UZH’s faculties, departments and offices offer children the opportunity to peek into different fields of work and areas at UZH. Along with visiting their parent’s place of work, children can also take part in workshops and watch live demonstrations and experiments.
